This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established unit within the Crime directorate. The successful applicant will play a key role in all future criminal investigations involving all levels of criminality including organised crime.
As a Forensic Telecommunications Officer the post holder will be providing expert advice and guidance to police officers concerning the examination and extraction of valuable intelligence data from mobile telecommunication devices.
The successful post-holder will possess excellent research and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work with limited supervision is desirable. Previous experience as an investigator on complex criminal investigations and an understanding of criminal justice legislation and court proceedings would be a distinct advantage.

Applications are invited for the above named post within the Central Business Unit based at Cleveland Police Headquarters (initially).
The successful candidate will provide a professional advice and support to the Force within the remit of the services provided by the Central Business Unit, and will provide a Force wide template service that meets both the operational and non operational needs of the organisation.
Duties will include the creation, amending and deletion of templates as requested and to ensure a templates register is maintained and reviews are undertaken. The successful candidate will also be required to support and assist the Force Graphic Artist as and when required and support other members of the Digital Imaging Unit. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in the use of Microsoft office, general clerical duties and have good verbal and written communications skills.
The Community Justice Dept is currently seeking a Clerical Assistant to work within the Central Ticket Office.
The prime responsibilities of the successful candidate will be accurate maintenance of manual and computer records and inputting/ retrieval of computer data. Proven clerical experience and keyboard skills are essential.
The post holder will be self-motivated, organized, with good communication skills in order to deal with the public on a day-to-day basis. Attendance at court could be required.
A flexible approach to work is required, along with the ability to use their own initiative whilst working as part of a team.
Permanent Contract.
A permanent vacancy has arisen for a HR Assistant within the People and Diversity team. This is a full time post providing administrative HR support within the HR team.
The successful post-holder will be expected to provide first line support to both Police Staff and Police Officers, across the whole range of the day to day operational HR requirements delivered by the HR Assistants.
The successful applicant must possess a good general level of education, excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. An interest in HR with part membership of the CIPD would also be desirable.
