Transferees
Cleveland Police are currently recruiting Uniform and Detective Constables. Employment with the Force will commence towards the end of 2009
Applications are invited from:
- Uniform Constables who have completed their probationary period and demonstrated sustained competence in an operational role through two PDR’s.
- Uniform Constables who have completed their probationary period and demonstrated sustained competence in an operational role through one PDR and who have successfully completed the ICIDP.
- Detective Constables who have also demonstrated sustained competence in an operational role throughout two PDR's.
We would be particularly interested in applications from under-represented groups. A relocation package of up to £3,000 will be available.
Officers must have satisfactory appraisals and not have any complaints outstanding.
The first stage of the selection process is the paper sift where the candidate's application form is thoroughly vetted. It is therefore essential that the instructions contained within the application form are followed.
Medical questionnaires of the candidates successful at application form stage are forwarded to our Occupational Health Unit for assessment.
Applicants considered suitable will be invited to attend police headquarters, Ladgate Lane, Middlesbrough for a fitness test, interview, and further medical assessment.
The interview will be conducted by a HR professional and a police officer.
Successful applicants will be given a provisional appointment, subject to medical and security clearance.
